WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2025-26 women’s basketball schedule on Friday, a 126-game slate featuring 18 games for each school.
The 2025-26 season will mark the eighth straight year every home game will be available to fans across the league’s three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and USA Network, either on television or through streaming platforms. The schedule marks the second year of a five-year agreement with all three partners. Through the Atlantic 10’s comprehensive media agreements and extensive streaming package via ESPN+, every home game for all 14 league members will be available to stream.
Game times and full television designations will be announced at a later date.
For the second consecutive year, seven games of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship will be nationally televised. All four quarterfinal games will air on USA Network on Friday, March 6, with both semifinal matchups televised on CBS Sports Network on Saturday, March 7. The championship game will be televised on ESPN Networks on Sunday, March 8, making the 29
th straight year ESPN has televised the league’s title bout. This year marks the third consecutive season the A-10 Championship will be at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va. The first two rounds of the Championship will stream on ESPN+.
The 14 Atlantic 10 women’s basketball programs will be tested early, with conference play tipping off on Dec. 3. The opening day will feature seven A-10 matchups, highlighted by a showdown between Rhode Island and 2025 A-10 Championship finalist Saint Joseph’s. The conference will resume league play on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
In addition to the championship final, ESPN Networks will showcase two regular season contests between conference heavyweights. Defending A-10 champion George Mason will host defending regular season champion Richmond in a nationally televised showdown on Sunday, Jan. 25. Both the Patriots and Spiders went to the NCAA Tournament last season – with the latter advancing to the second round.
VCU will host Richmond for the second regular-season matchup televised on ESPN Networks, slated for Sunday, Feb. 1. Touted as the Capital City Classic, the game is a matchup of one of the best rivalries in college basketball.
Conference play concludes with seven strong matchups on Saturday, Feb. 28. The regular season finale slate will see Saint Joseph’s square off against Richmond ahead of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship, after the Hawks eliminated the Spiders from the 2025 A-10 Tournament with a buzzer beater in the semifinals.
Four Atlantic 10 teams finished the 2024-25 season ranked in the Top 100 of the NCAA NET: Richmond (32), George Mason (45), Saint Joseph’s (53), and Davidson (89). George Mason clinched the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament bid with a spectacular run in the A-10 Championship. Richmond earned an at-large bid, while Saint Joseph’s (WBIT), Davidson (WBIT), Duquesne (WNIT), and Massachusetts (WNIT) secured postseason bids as well.
Atlantic 10 institutions are located in states that comprise 39.9 million television households, 33 percent of the total national market. The A-10 is in seven of the top 30 media markets, including New York (1), Chicago (3), Philadelphia (5), Washington (8), Charlotte (21), St. Louis (24), and Pittsburgh (27). All 14 institutions are within the top 65 media markets.
