WASHINGTON -- The Atlantic 10 Conference has named a pair of Hobart senior attacker Alex Rosa as the Under Armour Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Richmond graduate goalie Zach Vigue was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week. High Point redshirt freshman Owen Bunten was selected as the Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week. The awards were announced Monday and are for games played on February 3-9.

Rosa scored a career and game-high five goals on just seven shots to lead Hobart to a 21-12 season-opening victory over Canisius. The Syracuse, NY native also recorded three ground balls and a turnover against the Golden Griffins. The senior scored three times in the decisive third quarter that saw the Statesmen outscore their foe 9-2, with two of his scores being extra-man goals, giving him 16 EMG for his career, tied for fifth on Hobart's Division I list.

Vigue made nine saves on 17 shots faced for a .889 save percentage in 53:44 of play in Richmond’s 17-2 victory over Robert Morris on Saturday. The Apex, N.C. native didn't allow a goal until 6:21 in the third quarter and conceded just one of the two goals scored against Richmond. The two goals allowed matched the program's lowest goal total, previously set against St. John's in 2024. The graduate student also led the Spiders in ground balls, recording five. Bunten registered a season-high four goals at VMI and recorded the game winner in OT to give High Point its first win of the season after going down 7 goals in the first half. The Southwick, Mass. native also tallied an assist, two ground balls and a caused turnover. This is Bunten's second-straight Rookie of the Week honor.
